She then moved to Yorkshire for her junior doctor training. Dr Naidoo completed her GP training across a variety of specialties in South Somerset. Thereafter, she worked at GP surgeries in South Somerset and Cambridgeshire. She moved to Jersey with her family in February 2016. |

Hobbies & Interests | Although most of her spare time is devoted to her boisterous and inquisitive little daughter, Dr Naidoo is very much a homebody and enjoys baking as her main avenue of de-stressing. She can often be found on the beach with her family, on days out exploring and discovering Jersey or catching up on new film releases with her husband. Originally from South Africa, Dr Naidoo travels to South Africa on a regular basis, but also enjoys travelling to new destinations to learn about other cultures. When she does find some quiet time to herself, Dr Naidoo enjoys tucking into a good book. |

Work history (chronological) | Dr. Loane qualified as a GP in 1995 and has 20 years experience in General Medicine. Before moving to Jersey in 2002, Dr. Loane was the GP Principal in a practice in Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland. Following more than 15 years of practice in Northern Ireland, Dr. Loane and his family moved to Jersey where he joined a local GP practice in 2002. |
Other achievements: | Dr. Loane acts as an Occupational Health advisor for several local companies and holds a Diploma in Occupational Medicine. Currently Dr. Loane is the only GP in Jersey to hold thisqualification. |

His first post was at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport, and from there he went on to complete his GP training at Gorton Medical Centre in Manchester. After several more years working in the UK, Dr. Overton moved to Jersey, to set up a practice at 41 David Place in St Helier. |

Mr Garreth Saunders – Advanced Clinical Practitioner | |

Work history (chronological) | Garreth originally trained and worked in social care although he followed a childhood passion and later trained with the Military. His experiences led him to undertake roles within the UK the Middle East and Eastern Europe where he was exposed to and developed an interest in emergency medicine. Garreth has since worked across emergency, urgent and primary care settings since 1999, with him qualifying as a UK Paramedic in 2004. Garreth continued his studies and became an Emergency Care Practitioner in 2008. The role of the Emergency Care Practitioner has since evolved into the Specialist and Advanced Clinical Practitioner role which is now common place throughout the UK mainland with senior clinicians holding equitable roles to that of their medical peers. Garreth has held a number of senior clinical and senior leadership roles within both the emergency services and acute hospital medicine, however his passion remains to be in clinical practice and has continued to practice in Urgent and Primary care medicine since 2008. Prior to moving to Jersey his professional role was split between working in General Practice and leading the swift development of a busy Intensive Care Unit during the peak of the Covid 19 pandemic. In previous roles Garreth had been instrumental in the inauguration, development and implementation of specialist and advanced practice models of care and originally moved to Jersey with his wife and children in 2021 to support similar initiatives. |
